1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Aetris mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Aetris (or 16 in the EU/EEA). By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep your account credentials secure.

3. Description of Service

Aetris is a pet astrology and soul-mapping mobile application that provides:

AI-generated astrological profiles for pets (sun, moon, and rising signs)
Behavioral tracking and lunar phase correlation
Daily oracle cards, cosmic insights, and harmony scores
Owner–pet synastry and compatibility readings
Grimoire — a personal archive of collected oracle cards

Aetris is intended for entertainment and personal enrichment purposes only. All astrological content is generated by AI and should not be used as a substitute for professional veterinary, psychological, or medical advice.

4. Account Registration

To access most features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@aetris.app

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes one pet profile, basic sun and moon sign readings, and a limited daily oracle card. No payment is required.

5.2 Nebula Membership

Premium features are available through Nebula Membership, offered in three billing options:

Weekly — $4.99 per week
Monthly — $12.99 per month
Lifetime — $49.99 one-time payment

Premium benefits include: Infinite Portals (unlimited pet profiles), Ancient Lineages (all archetypes), Pinnacle Precision (advanced metrics), Behavioral Alchemy (AI-powered analysis), and Cosmic Guidance (priority readings).

5.3 Billing and Cancellation

Subscriptions are processed through the Google Play Store via RevenueCat
Weekly and monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges
To cancel, go to Google Play Store → Subscriptions, or Settings → Manage Subscription within the App

5.4 Refunds

All purchases are subject to the Google Play Store refund policy. We do not issue refunds directly. For refund requests, contact Google Play support within 48 hours of purchase.

6. User Content

You may upload photos of your pets ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant Aetris a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content within the App solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You must own or have the right to upload any content you submit
You may not upload content that is offensive, illegal, or violates third-party rights
We do not use your pet photos for training AI models or any purpose beyond displaying them in your account

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Astrological profiles, oracle cards, harmony scores, and behavioral insights are generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). This content:

Is provided for entertainment and personal enrichment only
Does not constitute professional veterinary, medical, psychological, or behavioral advice
May be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your specific situation
Should not be used as the sole basis for decisions about your pet's health or wellbeing

Always consult a qualified veterinarian or animal behaviorist for health and behavioral concerns.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the App or its APIs
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App
Create multiple accounts to abuse the free tier or promotions
Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, design, code, trademarks, and branding within the App are the exclusive property of Aetris and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

The AI-generated content delivered to you through the App (astrological readings, oracle cards, etc.) is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

10. Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

Modify, update, or discontinue any feature at any time
Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
Change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available, or that any astrological content will be accurate or complete.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aetris and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aetris and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the App.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts.
